Jill Kinsey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister and IECA missionary Jill Kinsey who peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour at 5:30pm on 27th June in her cottage in Pulane with her son Mike by her side. 

After a rapid period of decline in her heath over the last few weeks of her life, the Lord took her safely home to receive her great reward. 

We would like to express our sincere condolences to her children and grandchildren who will miss her terribly. 

Jill was also like a mother and grandmother to hundreds of children in Lesotho whom she sacrificed so much to serve. These children will also be feeling the pain of this loss. 

We also assure the family, the children, staff of PCC, Grant and Emily and many others who have tirelessly cared for Jill and loved her to the end of our love and prayers. What an incredible life Jill had – lived out to the maximum for God! The impact she made on shepherd boys and the orphan children of Lesotho is incalculable.

As a church we have been privileged to know Jill and been able to support her in her missionary calling over the past 30 years. We have always felt that her labour was an extension of the work of IECA and felt privileged to have been involved in this amazing ministry to the children of Lesotho.
